As a trusted partner to the Director of Ops Strategy & Transformation, the Operations Transformation Business Manager will sit at the very heart of our transformation agenda, right at the centre of the action. Over the next 4–5 years, Ops Transformation will deliver major, multi‑year change as we bring our Go‑to 2030 strategy to life — transforming how we operate, how we make decisions, and how we deliver performance at scale.
You will provide pace and structure across a complex portfolio, support senior decision‑making, and ensure transformation plans translate into real, measurable outcomes. About the role
* You will provide dedicated daily support to the Operations Transformation Director, ensuring actions, priorities and deliverables are progressed efficiently and within deadlines.
* Coordinate essential operational activities including inbox management, meeting preparation, team communications and handling requests from the CEO Office and Executive Board.
* Design and oversee business processes and the performance management calendar to support effective governance and alignment with wider COO boards and forums.
* Lead and deliver special projects on behalf of the Director, ensuring clear outcomes, strong execution and measurable impact.
* Work closely with the Transformation Office and Finance Business Partners to maintain oversight of project performance, investment tracking and scorecard reporting.
* Act as Employee Engagement Champion for the Operations Transformation team, supporting initiatives that strengthen culture and connectivity.
* Serve as Compliance & Ethics Coordinator and Tools for the Job (TFTJ) coordinator.
* Manage managerial recruitment approvals (green route) for Operational Directors across all Operations functions.
About you
* You should be experienced working with or supporting senior leadership, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly organised, able to prioritise complex and competing demands with confidence.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret detailed management information.
* Experience designing or improving business processes and delivering practical, effective solutions.
* Comfortable working across diverse teams in a matrix managed environment.
* Previous Business Manager or operations experience is advantageous, alongside experience delivering key projects within tight timescales.
