Here at GXO, we are looking for a Transport Team Leader to join our Kellogg's team based in Haydock.
This site provides our customer with a dedicated warehouse distribution facility and transport factory clearance for its products. You will need a flexible approach to join our existing teams where the primary focus is on delivering excellent customer service.
This is a full time, permanent position, working 4 on, 4 off. Rotating over 2 days – 07:00 to 19:00, 2 nights 19:00 to 07:00

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Responsible of the scheduling and planning of the transport operation ensuring that all contractual customer services levels and time window commitments are met within agreed timescales
* Responsible for ensuring the vehicle maintenance schedule is current, maintained and displayed in line with DVSA & GXO requirements
* Visible management of the team to ensure all aspects of Compliance is closely managed, monitored and adhered to, Tachomaster reports, service & MOT scheduling
* Management of driver performance, review, set targets & analyse
* Working with a rolling team of 4 Team Leaders to ensure agile, robust performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in Transport operation or warehouse operation with transport office
* Knowledge of Working time directive- drivers' hours
* Good practical understanding of H&S
* Experience with MS Office and transport tools, along with excellent organisational and problem solving skills
