Purpose of the Job:
Seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals for the role of Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager. This role involves leading a team of engineering technicians, focusing on safety, equipment availability, and process adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and mentor the team, ensuring safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with the wider network to leverage technical expertise and develop solutions.
* Support safety and compliance programs with the Site Safety department and leadership.
* Implement standards and focus on preventative maintenance for high equipment availability.
* Manage training and ensure technical coverage for shifts.
* Organize local and support EU-level projects.
* Work on shifts as needed to stay connected with the team.
Basic Qualifications:
* UK Higher National Diploma (HND), HNC, BTEC OND, or equivalent, or ILM L4+.
* Relevant maintenance experience in industrial or production environments.
* Experience managing engineering teams.
* Stakeholder relationship management skills.
* Proficiency in English and local language.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree qualification.
* Knowledge of statutory regulations and safety protocols.
* Experience with automated equipment and conveyor systems.
* Data analysis, PLC systems, project management, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, CMMS experience.
