Maintenance Engineer – Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary: GBP50,000 – GBP54,000
Working pattern: Monday – Friday double days

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over GBP9m of investment going into the factory and growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Responsibilities
* Planned maintenance inspections and review of parts used
* Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on range of equipment
* Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery
* Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments
* Report on plant performance using systems; ensure action on non-conformance issues
* Work on a range of boilers, steam boilers, ammonia equipment, valves and pumps
* Support production and continuous improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Formal Engineering Qualification: C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
* Continuous improvement knowledge
* Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
* Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments
