Vivienne Westwood is one of the most iconic British Fashion Brands that cares about its people and the environment. Our Ecommerce Team is looking for a Mid‑Weight Image Retoucher to join the Merton Office on a full‑time basis.
Overview
Clear brand understanding and the delivery of consistent, quality artwork to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as an ambassador for retouch guidelines, translating and applying creative direction on behalf of Senior Retouchers.
* Support Senior Retouchers with the production process and day‑to‑day retouch operations to meet deadlines.
* Perform quality control on editing and colour checking/matching images with garments/products to ensure consistent colour accuracy.
* Suggest retouch processes and software to enhance studio workflows and advise on the most effective techniques.
* Maintain and organise personal retouch workload and checklist priorities, ensuring assets are submitted onto the VW dropbox for approval.
* Devise training and support sessions with Senior Retouchers to develop the team’s technical and creative skills with Adobe Suite and Capture One.
* Communicate openly with Senior Retouchers, Image and Content Coordinator or Ecom Studio Operations Manager about any delays or changes to delivery schedules.
* Participate in a retouch trial set and an onsite interview at the Merton Office.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in retouch/edit field with a strong portfolio of creative work.
* Excellent Photoshop knowledge and a strong understanding of colour spaces and Mac systems.
* Advanced knowledge of automotive and fashion retouching techniques.
* Composite retouch experience.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask & prioritise workload.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills – solution focussed.
* Experience in an e‑commerce setting preferred.
* Ability to attend the SW19 office at least 3 times a week.
