We are currently recruiting for a very exciting and fulfilling position, strategically managing a beautiful restaurant on an outstanding Resort in Dunoon! The role will see you working and taking full ownership of a stunning venue set within beautiful surroundings. This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking person, wanting and able to have a direct impact in shaping one of the F&B offerings of this resort.
This is a position truly not to be missed…. You will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within budgeted guidelines.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Ensuring that food and beverage areas set up for the day's business
* Ensuring that staff are briefed and directed accordingly
* Helping to come up with new ideas and run events within the facility.
* Helping to train the staff to quality first class standards
* Working closely with the company to design menus to fit with the growth of the resort.
* Ensuring that Food and Beverage rooms are cleared at the end of each event
* Handle guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner
* Help create a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhere to the company's health and safety policy and procedures
Key Skills and Experience
* Will have experience as a Restaurant Manager within a guest focused environment
* Will be passionate about F&B service
* Will have an excellent eye for detail
Responsibilities
* Manage the restaurant and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
* Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
* Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
* Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
* Lead the restaurant team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
* Establish targets, KPI's, schedules, policies, and procedures.
* Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork.
* Comply with all health and safety regulations.
* Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
* Flexible working hours including some late evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
