Responsibilities
* Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of acutely unwell medical patients.
* Supervise and lead the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC), and Same-Day Emergency Care (SDEC) services.
* Ensure seamless transitions of care from the Emergency Department to Acute Medicine and beyond.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and implement innovative pathways for acute care.
* Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and governance activities.
* Actively participate in the training and mentorship of junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
