The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing and maintaining mechanical structures to support the company’s products and services. Job Functions · To assist in mechanical engineering development activities in accordance with quality processes and procedures. · To support and enhance the mechanical aspects of existing products in accordance with equipment business requirements. · To produce drawings and documentation for projects required by the equipment business. · To assist in the calculation of cost / time-scales for various design projects. · To assist in the making and testing of prototype’s for new equipment. · To embody drawing changes as required by the business. · Other activities as defined from time to time by members of the senior management · Travel within the UK may be required, and is considered an occasional feature of this role.
