As part of this successful and growth driven, global manufacturing organisation, the UK business operation now requires a Head of Product Management to join their team, who will be responsible for driving and executing the product strategy and vision within the business. This role will be critical in defining future direction and will require the ability to apply a long and wide lens on potential opportunities.

The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, as the Head of Product Management, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* defining and communicating clear product vision, strategies and roadmaps
* overseeing the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimisation
* leading and mentoring a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
* providing guidance on product management best practices and facilitate professional development within the team
* driving forward strategic growth initiatives and sustain existing business
* identifying areas for exploration aligned with customer needs, competitor positioning and market trends
* working closely with business stakeholders to set product vision and strategic direction globally
* working closely with BD and Sales teams on near term objective and customer voice
* establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
* owning P&L visibility of the product portfolio, conducting analysis in support of data-driven portfolio decisions
As the Head of Product Management, you will be required to operate at a strategic level in order to advise, implement and influence at all levels throughout the business.
The Candidate:
Ideally of graduate standard, preferably from within an engineering, technical or marketing based discipline, candidates for the Head of Product Management role will be required to demonstrate that they have:
* previous work experience in the same or similar position, preferably from within a technical product sector
* a strong product background, with experience in product development, product marketing and working closely with technical and R&D teams
* ideally prior experience from within an engineering and /or product manufacturing sector
* previously worked within a complex or multi-national organisation
Candidates for the Head of Product Management role should also have:
* proven stakeholder management abilities with strategic thinking skills
* excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible in a challenging environment
