Are you a technically skilled Liverpool creative who is passionate about world-class content creation and exceptional customer experience?

Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you

About Us

Liverpool Podcast Studios is the
UK's leading video-first podcast and content production studio
. We work with businesses, founders, and content creators across the North West and beyond, helping them build their digital presence and authority through exceptional content.

We're not a cheap and cheerful DIY studio. Nor are we a corporate agency.

We are a purpose-built production facility built by a small team who genuinely cares about content creation. We've spent over five years
obsessing over and refining every detail of our operation
, from the moment a client walks through the door to the final delivery.

Our studio runs at extremely high capacity, and despite content production being more accessible than ever, our clients keep coming back, and they keep coming to us, despite many competitors now in the podcast studio space.

The reason is simple: we don't just record content... f
irst and foremost,
we are in the business of world-class customer experience.
We build long-standing relationships and genuinely care about our clients' journeys, and we hold ourselves to a standard of operational excellence that our clients can feel in every interaction.

About the role

The Studio Producer is the backbone of our operation. You are the person our clients trust with their content, their brand, and often their confidence in front of a camera.

Your day will look something like this:

A client arrives at the studio - they may be a seasoned professional who's been coming here for years, or they may be completely new to content creation. You welcome them into our studio ensuring they have everything they need to feel comfortable and prepared. "What can I get you to drink?" You ask. You remember their name. You remember their setup preferences. You make them feel like they belong here.

You've already prepared the studio with one of our bespoke designed podcast setups, or perhaps a more custom configuration tailored to their specific needs. Sofas, tables, chairs, props, camera positions, lighting, microphone placement — all intentional, all considered.

In the studio, you are the captain of the ship. You're operating our control station, built and refined over years of production to allow you to have eyes and ears everywhere. You're live-switching between cameras, mixing audio channels and taking detailed editing notes that feed directly into our post-production workflow, ensuring the handoff is seamless.

But beyond the technical operation, your most important job is making the client feel supported. Some clients are seasoned professionals. Some are recording for the first time and are nervous. You read the room, you guide them, you give them the confidence to deliver their best content.

When you're not in the studio, you may be working on post-production — editing content to the standard our clients expect, mixing audio, grading visuals. Or you may be contributing to development projects: designing new studio setups, exploring new content formats, improving workflows, and helping shape what Liverpool Podcast Studios offers next. Everyone on our team is encouraged to bring ideas, lean into their strengths, and continue to redefine the industry.

Who this role is perfect for:

* You are a highly skilled producer first and foremost. You're confident with all things content-creation, including cameras, audio and lighting
* Technical excellence isn't something you're working towards, it's your starting point. From there, what sets you apart is everything else
* You are naturally warm, confident, and skilled at making people feel at ease, whether that's a first-time content creator or a professional one
* You take genuine pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences, and you understand that how someone feels matters as much as how the content looks
* You can command a room when needed, handling high-pressure situations, guiding clients with authority, and keeping your cool when things don't go to plan
* You thrive in a fast-paced, systems-driven environment. You follow SOPs with discipline, but you also spot opportunities to improve them
* You're comfortable working independently in the studio with a client, and equally comfortable collaborating as part of a small, close-knit team
* You are based in or local to Liverpool and able to work on-site at our studio

Technical skills:

* Demonstrable experience shooting and recording multiple media formats, including videography and audio engineering in a
studio or professional production environment
* Confident and proficient with video editing software and digital audio workstations (Final Cut Pro and Ableton Live preferred, but equivalent experience with similar NLEs and DAWs is welcome)
* Experience in colour correction/grading and audio mixing
* You have a natural eye for visual aesthetics and detail, and you understand how that translates into creating content that stands out

Bonus skills (not essential):

* Graphic design
* Motion graphics
* Social media content creation

The details

Part-time, 20 hours per week minimum, with the opportunity for more hours based on the growing success/capacity of the studio.

Location: Fully on-site at Liverpool Podcast Studios, Baltic Triangle, Liverpool.

Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)

Start date: We're ready to move quickly for the right person.

I'll be honest... I'm not going to sit and read through every line of your CV. What I want is to see who you are and what you're capable of.

Along with your CV, please send over:

1. A portfolio of your best work (anything creative) This is your chance to show me you're aligned with our standard. I want to see the work that you're most proud of and that shows me how you think creatively.

2. A short video introduction (no more than 3 minutes). Tell me a bit about who you are, your background, and your relevant experience in production and working with clients. Then tell me: what does truly excellent content creation mean to you? This video is your chance for us to get a feel for your vibe and see if we'll be a good fit to work together
