Supply Year 6 Class Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Role: Full-time | Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £140–£180 per day
Are you an experienced Year 6 teacher who can step in quickly, lead with confidence, and maintain high standards in the classroom?
An Enquire Learning Trust primary school in Grimsby is seeking a strong, reliable Year 6 supply teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time temporary role within a well-led school that places high importance on consistency, behaviour expectations and pupil wellbeing.
You’ll be working with an established Year 6 class, planning and delivering lessons and providing stability and structure during a crucial stage of the academic year. This role is ideal for a teacher with proven Y6 experience who is confident managing behaviour and keeping learning on track.
What you’ll be doing:
Teaching a Year 6 class, providing planning and teaching to a high standard
Maintaining clear routines and strong behaviour management in line with school policy
Providing a calm, structured and purposeful learning environment
Supporting pupils across the full Year 6 curriculum
Helping pupils remain focused, confident and ready for transition to secondary school
This Role Is Ideal for You If You:
Have experience teaching Year 6
Are confident managing behaviour and setting clear expectations from day one
Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
Are available to start immediately and commit to a full-time role up until the end of the academic year
What you’ll need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong Year 6 teaching experience
Confident, consistent behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
