About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join our busy and growing claims team in Morley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background in property and liability claims, who is ready to take on a varied caseload and work closely with clients and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a range of commercial claims, primarily EL/PL, property, and motor
* Conduct desktop investigations and attend site visits when required
* Maintain an efficient diary system and chase claims progress as needed
* Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve queries
* Produce claims reports and management information (MI)
* Present claims information to clients and attend meetings when required
* Ensure complex claims are managed in line with company procedures
* Keep personal CPD up to date and maintain a strong working knowledge of Acturis
Requirements
* Solid experience in property and liability claims handling
* Strong understanding of insurance law, policy wording, and current case law
* Excellent investigation and analytical skills
* Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
* Highly organised with strong time management
* Cert CII or working towards (preferred)
* Familiarity with Acturis (desirable) and Microsoft Office tools
