The apprenticeship candidates will need to be friendly, conscientious, work in a tidy and methodical manner with a positive attitude, have a keen eye for detail and to take pride in their work as this position requires a high standard of accuracy.
You will be using the latest CNC machinery, metrology equipment, tooling and software to manufacture precision components for markets such as aerospace, defence, medical, motorsport (F1). These components are made from various materials such as heat-treated stainless steel, titanium, bronze, aluminium, copper, and specialist engineering plastics.
You will be operating and setting CNC machines, deburring, and conducting mechanical and visual inspections.

Training to be Provided
Whilst an apprentice with Rotamic Engineering and the support of Exeter College, you will be trained for the requirements of operating and setting our CNC machines. You will also be taught how to use various measuring equipment from plug gauges, verniers, micrometres, and CMMs. You will work towards the Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard whilst studying at Exeter College.
