We have an exciting opportunity within our Neighbourhoods team as a Community Safety Co-ordinator.
About Us
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Safety Co-ordinator to work with key agencies to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour across Middlesbrough. Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour is a key priority for the Elected Mayor.
The successful candidate will provide strategic support to Middlesbrough’s Community Safety Partnership, supporting the neighbourhood model and the partnership. The role involves consultation, development, implementation, and coordination of strategic plans, and building effective relationships with criminal justice agencies, treatment providers, and support agencies. Excellent communication skills and experience in community safety are essential.
You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for making a difference in residents' lives and strong personal skills.
This is a fixed-term position until 31.03.2027.
