Nurse Assessor – Admissions & Compliance (Desk-Based with Regular External Assessments) Barrowhill Hall Nursing & Residential Home, Rocester Full-time | Office-Based | Monday–Friday Barrowhill Hall is seeking a Nurse Assessor to manage enquiries, carry out clinical suitability assessments and support our compliance and governance processes. The role is primarily office-based, but includes regular external assessments in potential residents’ homes, hospitals and community settings, as well as attendance at external events and professional meetings. Key Responsibilities * Complete pre-admission assessments: * Desk-based (telephone, documentation review, virtual assessments) * Regular in-person assessments in homes, hospitals and community settings * Manage all new enquiries and guide families through the admissions journey. * Coordinate admission paperwork, communication and scheduling. * Support compliance by reviewing care plans, risk assessments, incidents and audits. * Represent Barrowhill Hall at external events, case meetings, MDT discussions, hospital liaison sessions and networking opportunities. * Work closely with the Registered Manager and Responsible Individual on governance and action plans.
