The Department of Campus Infrastructure wishes to appoint a Painter/Decorator to join the team.
You will be responsible for assisting with painting and decorating the University's residential buildings, hospitality, and catering outlets on campus and in the city. You may also undertake other maintenance activities, such as minor repairs and building fabric maintenance.
We Would Like To Hear From You If You
* Have an Apprenticeship in Painting & Decorating or similar, such as a City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorating Occupations (Painting and Decorating) or equivalent.
* Have practical hands-on DIY skills and the vocational training and experience to undertake routine repairs.
* Are familiar with, and comfortable working in, the built environment, able to identify and address various maintenance tasks, and keep all affected informed.
* Have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake training to improve your knowledge.
* Are committed to the role and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Further Information
This role is offered on a full-time (36.5 hours per week), permanent basis. Hours are between 08:00 and 18:00, with flexibility required based on operational needs, Monday to Friday.
