About Loughborough Schools Foundation
Tracing its history back to 1495, Loughborough Schools Foundation combines over 500 years of academic excellence with a forward‑looking, globally minded approach to educating children of all ages. Today, the Foundation includes a Nursery, a Prep School and two Senior Schools, educating over 1,700 pupils aged from 6 weeks to 18 years. Loughborough High School and Loughborough Grammar School both rank among the top 10 independent schools in the East Midlands in the latest Parent Power, Sunday Times Schools Guide.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the newly appointed CEO and working as part of the Executive Team, the Director of Marketing and Admissions will be responsible for developing a multi‑channel marketing strategy that not only drives admissions across the schools, but builds profile and long‑term advocacy among current parents, alumni and key stakeholders. This pivotal leadership role offers a genuine opportunity to help shape an exciting new phase and future for the Foundation.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a multi‑channel marketing strategy to drive admissions and build the Foundation’s profile.
* Inspire and provide strategic direction for a 13‑strong team of marketing and admissions professionals.
* Navigate, collaborate and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Effective and experienced strategic marketer with a demonstrable track record in strategic marketing, communications and customer relations gained from within or outside the education sector.
* Extensive professional skillset including relational and creative skills, with an instinctive understanding of the independent education landscape.
* Excellent communication skills.
