We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our Truly Talented team.

As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for M&E Ops, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that guest expectations are consistently exceeded.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the conference and banqueting department to ensure efficient and high‑quality event execution.
* Manage event setup, breakdown and service delivery to ensure all events meet client expectations and hotel standards.
* Work closely with the sales and events teams to understand event requirements and ensure seamless coordination.
* Supervise and train the conference and banqueting team, fostering a high‑performance and service‑focused culture.
* Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service throughout all event spaces.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards and licensing laws.
* Manage stock, equipment and inventory to ensure all event materials are readily available.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in conference and banqueting operations or a similar hospitality management role.
* Strong ability to train, motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities, with a hands‑on and proactive approach.
* Ability to oversee multiple events simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong guest service skills with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
* Good financial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs efficiently.
* Knowledge of food and beverage service, event logistics and health and safety regulations.
The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details, and trusting.
