We are seeking a confident and experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our clients finance team. This role is based at their head office, nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside and offers a friendly and well-equipped working environment. You will report directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager and play a crucial role in our purchase ledger function.
Day-to-day of the role
* Day-to-day processing for our purchase ledger function.
* Responsible for updating our purchase order systems.
* Conducting supplier reconciliations.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
* Setting up payment runs to maintain financial efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role or similar.
* Familiarity with Sage 200 is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
