Audit & Risk Recruitment is thrilled to assist a 10 firm UK firm to recruit for a Senior Internal Auditor in Liverpool. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be conducting audits with minimal supervision from Manager and is responsible for producing report-ready quality work.
The Role
You will play a central role in delivering internal audit and advisory services for public sector clients in education, healthcare and government bodies. You will help our clients drive improvement and ensure robust control environments. You will get involved in internal audit and quality frameworks as well as being in a predominantly client-facing position.
Your credentials
* Hold an ACA/ACCA/CIA qualification or working towards one
* At least 2 years of internal audit/risk management experience in public sector
* Demonstrable experience working in a professional services firm
* Experience in doing end-to-end audits with little to no supervision
* Experience working on a portfolio of audit and completing all deadlines in time
* Confidently presenting your work to stakeholders and adding value to their businesses
