Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location: Leeds Business Area: Healthcare Salary: £33,100 15% shift allowance (£4,965) = £38,065 Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (6am to 6pm) About the Role We are looking for a skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a dynamic maintenance team at the Leeds Oncology Wing. You will play a key role in ensuring the hospital is maintained to the highest standards, delivering a responsive and customer-focused service. What You'll Do Lead a small shift team of Maintenance Craftsmen and Assistants. Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on building, mechanical, and electrical services. Work on systems including: Heating and domestic water services General electrical services (lighting & power) Air handling units Low voltage electrical distribution Emergency standby generators Fire alarms & emergency lighting Electrical control systems & BMS Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports. Participate in a 24/7/365 rotating shift pattern. Undertake training to act as Authorised Person when required. Occasionally assist with minor installation and upgrade works. What We're Looking For Qualified time-served engineer with at least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience. Electrical bias with multi-skilled flexibility.
