Salary: £32,341- £34,090
Hours: Part time 30 hours per week

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Supervising Social Worker (SSW) to join our friendly and unique fostering charity, working primarily from home, but with regular opportunities to meet with colleagues both regionally and agency wide.
There will be involvement in recruiting, assessing, supervising and supporting Foster Carers to support us in maintaining our quality fostering service for looked after children. The role involves recruitment of Foster Carers, travel to the homes of our Foster Carers as required (which will at times involve travelling longer distances), leading occasional projects, running and delivering training and support groups, and taking part in an ‘out of hours’ duty system (approximately 5 times a year).
* Flexible approach to working; able to travel to Foster Carers’ homes and work across regions when required.

Responsibilities
* Recruit, assess, supervise and support Foster Carers to maintain a high-quality fostering service for looked after children.
* Ensure thorough and personal support to fostering families to enable effective service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven fostering experience (demonstrating significant experience of working within Children’s Services).
* Outstanding people, report writing, organisation and recording skills.
* Diploma or BA in Social Work (or equivalent Social Work qualification).
* Registered with Social Work England on commencement and for the duration of employment.
* Ability to work flexibly and travel as required.
