Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS) Location: Rotherham (S65, S66) Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you feel confident, organised, and ready to support students’ learning across multiple subjects? GSL Education are appointing a reliable Cover Supervisor to maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences, with opportunities available across Rotherham schools situated in the S65 and S66 areas. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise whole classes, deliver pre-set work, and ensure students remain focused and engaged. You will play a key role in maintaining a calm, well-managed classroom environment and supporting positive behaviour. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes across different subjects using lesson plans provided. Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment. Support students to stay on task and complete assigned work. Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times. Provide feedback to teaching staff where required. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting. Confidence managing a classroom independently as a Cover Supervisor. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A professional and flexible approach to school life. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
