Family Support Worker
Location: Marlow Bottom | Long-term, Full-Time/Part-Time | Start Date: January 2026
Pay: £90–£100 per day

Job Description:
Provide practical and emotional support to families, helping them overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing
Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure children receive the best possible support
Offer guidance on parenting strategies, attendance, and access to community resources
Support children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, both in and out of the classroom
Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding processes in line with school policies
Promote positive relationships between home and school, ensuring every family feels valued and included
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children, families, or in a community support role (desirable but not essential)
Be empathetic, approachable, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting families
Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive practice
Possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Be confident working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals
Have experience in health care, social care, or family support settings (highly desirable)
