About the Role
Join a friendly, close-knit team at a well-established local law firm in Torquay. Our client is seeking a Legal Executive / Conveyancer to join their residential conveyancing team.
This role focuses on residential conveyancing, with occasional low-value commercial matters. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own workload, contribute to client cases directly, and be part of a supportive, collaborative environment where your work makes a real impact.

What You’ll Do
* Handle residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
* Manage your own caseload efficiently under supervision
* Assist with occasional low-value commercial conveyancing matters
* Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties to progress cases
* Contribute to maintaining the firm’s high standards and excellent client service
Who We’re Looking For
* Has qualifications and/or experience in undertaking conveyancing transactions
* Lives locally and can come into our office during office opening hours to assist with our workload
* Motivated, organised, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in a small team and delivering a personal service
* Can interact with our clients face-to-face, as they frequently visit the office
Working Environment
The firm’s offices are located outside the town centre in St Marychurch, close to Babbacombe Downs. The practice operates from a characterful older building, which provides a traditional and professional working atmosphere.
All staff benefit from having their own private offices — there are no open-plan or communal working areas — allowing for focused, confidential client work. On-site parking is available.
