Highfields And Its Staff
Highfields is a day service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. It also gives family members and carers a break from their caring roles.
The centre is warm and welcoming, with different bases for service users including Poppy, Bluebell, Jasmine and Daisy. All bases are decorated with colourful and engaging artwork with some being allergy free zones. We also have an amazing garden for service users, with a greenhouse, sensory walk, and seating area. Service users also enjoy the café and communal area for activities, and the sensory and therapy rooms available.
Our team are passionate about their work and having a positive impact in the day-to-day lives of our service users, promoting independence, and making a real difference. You will join a highly skilled staff team who support people to find hobbies they enjoy, while setting and achieving personal goals to take control of their lives. Many of our people require 1-1 support, and we ensure they have opportunities to be involved in activities that are meaningful to them.
