Part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse- Maternity Cover

Salary up to £32,000 FTE depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £2,500 and welcome bonus up to £1,000.
Here at Woodside Vets, we require a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to cover maternity leave at our busy mixed practice in Royal Deeside.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, and dependable Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide compassionate and patient centred care. Responsibilities include:
1. Care of inpatients and maintaining accurate medical records
2. Nurse consultations
3. Monitoring of anaesthesia
4. Performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
5. Infection control and assisting with training and development of student nurses.
About the rota
This is a part-time maternity cover role working 3 days/19.5 hours per week on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There will be 1 weekend in 4 (additional 7.5 hours for weekend) with no out of hours and no on call.

However, there are plenty castles and distilleries to explore nearby with cosy cafes and good quality restaurants for those a bit less adventurous. Torphins has a primary school, doctors’ surgery, hairdresser, and beauty salon, scotmid store, chinese takeaway and local pub serving Indian cuisine. The nearby town of Banchory offers Supermarkets, Gym facilities, Restaurants, and 2 golf courses.

Currently we have 7/8 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a Support team.
