We are seeking a motivated and skilled Town Planner to join our dynamic team in Colchester. As a key member of our planning department, you will contribute to shaping the future of the local area, working on a variety of exciting development projects that enhance the community and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and submit planning applications
2. Conduct site assessments and policy reviews
3. Collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and developers
4. Provide expert advice on land use, zoning, and urban development
5. Contribute to long-term strategic planning initiatives
Requirements:
6. A degree in Town Planning or related field
7. Membership with the RTPI (or working towards)
8. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
9. Experience in planning policy and application processes
10. Knowledge of Colchester’s local area and regulations is an advantage
