Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading aerospace organisation to recruit a Supply Chain Officer for an initial contract until November 2026. There is a rate of £21.68 PAYE Per Hour or £29 Umbrella Per Hour on offer for the successful candidate. The role would be full time onsite in Belfast.

Responsibilities:
1. Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitalization means.
2. Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions.
3. Demand and forecast control.
4. Communicate effectively to internal customers, team colleagues and external suppliers.
5. Supply chain prioritisation.
6. Challenge Supplier performance where appropriate.
7. Lead & Drive Supplier recoveries.
8. Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy.
9. Specify and use of process automation.
10. Use data management tools to drive decisions in the supply chain.
11. Order Book Management and maintaining MRP Master Data.
12. Coordinate Supplier Working Parties
13. Interact transnationally with suppliers (remotely and/or at suppliers) and proactively operate in a procurement community as partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer
