Role: New Business Development

Your key activities:
· Deliver excellent customer service to inbound enquires generated by our marketing and PR activities
. To develop own channels for new business
· Maintain accurate records using CRM to ensure the business operates in line with our brand values
· Business acumen with the ability to make accurate forecasts of sales / revenues
· Be an integral member of the team and be accountable for ensuring a culture of continual operational improvement
· Proactively drive inbound calls via our social media channels
· Developing and Maintaining a balanced portfolio of active prospects and profitable customers ensuring value added approach is adopted at all times
· Ensuring sales activity including scheduled meetings, prospect/customer development and pipeline opportunities are regularly kept up to date on CRM system
· Developing strong relationships with supply chain to maximise new business opportunities and lead generation
· Working closely with our internal teams and external suppliers alongside our customer to ensure accurate and best advice when designing a solution to meet our customer’s requirement
· Ensure quotations are accurate using our quotation platform software package
You will hold regular customers account reviews ensuring service levels are in line or above with expectations and replacement/extension opportunities are maximized.
Your Experience:
· Sales experience in a similar or related industry and technical understanding of cars and commercial vehicles.
· Confidence and tenacity to pursue leads, overcome obstacles, and secure deals
· Demonstrate an understanding and can demonstrate consultative and added value sale approach.
· Established and successful Business Development discipline
· Strong verbal and written communication & negotiation skills appropriate for both internal and external contacts
· Strong Organisational
· Commercial awareness including the ability to analyse and understand the competitive environment
· Determination, diplomacy, and excellent interpersonal skills
· Experience in leasing, rental or financial services is strongly desirable
Your environment:
Office based with option to work from home as required.
Training providing on CRM, Quoting and compliance
Normal working hours are 0900hrs to 17.00hrs Monday – Thursday. 0900hrs – 1600hrs Friday. Additional hours will be required on an ad-hoc basis.
Office dress code is business casual Monday-Friday
Your additional responsibilities:
Any other ad-hoc duties as required by your Line Manager
Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, guidelines and the internal control framework established to guide the operation of your function in addition to regulatory compliance requirements
