Location: Leek, Staffordshire (ST )

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while meeting customer demand and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
2. Lead, motivate and develop production teams, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
3. Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and legal requirements (BRC, HACCP, etc.)
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes
5. Work closely with Planning, Technical, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations
6. Monitor KPIs, production costs, and labour efficiency, taking corrective action where required
7. Support new product introductions and process development
8. Ensure equipment and facilities are used effectively and maintained to a high standard
About You
9. Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role within a food manufacturing environment
10. Strong people management and leadership skills
11. Sound knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and manufacturing best practice
12. Experience working with BRC, HACCP, and Health & Safety regulations
13. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
14. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
15. A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for quality and continuous improvement
Salary - Competitive
Hours - Day shifts till .pm
