Requirements
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member or undergo a Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary full-time position until 28th June 2026, based at Kilmarnock Academy (William McIlvanney Campus), Kilmarnock. The role involves working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, under the direction of the line manager. The salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589 per annum.
