Job Title: Security Administration Officer
Location: Onsite at Reading
Contract Details: Temporary (26th May 2025 - 30th June 2025)
Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as a Security Administration Officer and play a crucial role in supporting a secure facility for various governmental entities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing BPSS and SC vetting applications, assisting the Vetting Manager.
* Executing security-related administrative duties to support Security Controllers.
* Acting as the Security Subject Matter Expert for facility users and visitors.
* Managing group mailboxes for vetting and secure facility operations.
* Ensuring the legitimate and secure use of the facility.
* Escorting contractors for facility maintenance.
* Staying updated on security issues within the defence industry.
* Participating in monthly reviews with Security Controllers.
* Providing office cover for another Security team as needed.
* Assisting with security audits and reviews.

* Trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
* Proficiency in MS O365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.
* Experience in business administration.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook and Teams.
Familiarity with the Defence Sector and UK National Vetting System.

Qualifications:
