Summer University Amodation Cleaners Required (June–September)
Location – East London (Mile End)
Pay rate - £ per hour (incl. holiday pay)
Shift hours - 9am–3pm shifts
Rota - ANY 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 DAYS, ROTA BASIS - can be 3 to 6 days per week.
Your newpany We are supporting a major East London university in recruiting a large team of cleaners for their summer amodation project. This is a key period for the Estates & Facilities department, and
we are seeking candidates who canmit to consistent, reliable work throughout the full June - September period.
Your new role Working as part of the amodation cleaning team, you will ensure student bedrooms andmunal areas are maintained to a high standard. Duties include:
1. Cleaning bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, andmunal areas
2. Hoovering, mopping, dusting, and general housekeeping
3. Deep cleaning fridges and freezers
4. Supporting check-in and check-out weekends
5. Stripping bedding and light laundry tasks
6. Emptying bins across the estate
7. Restocking materials and reporting maintenance issues
8. Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
*** Shifts run 9am–3pm, and all staff must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, covering any days across a 7‑day rota. ***
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this project, you will need:
9. Previous cleaning experience
10. Excellent reliability and punctuality
11. The ability to work 30+ hours every week for the full duration of the project
12. Full flexibility to work any days across Monday–Sunday (rotas provided in advance)
13. A strong work ethic and ability to maintain high standards
14. Goodmunication skills and a calm, professional approach
