Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Chelmsford – Start Date ASAP
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils with their learning, confidence, and classroom engagement.
The school is looking for a patient, proactive practitioner with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support young learners of varying abilities.
📌 CONTRACT DETAILS
1. Location – Chelmsford
2. Position – Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
3. Type of work – Classroom support & 1:1/Small‑group assistance
4. Start date – ASAP
5. Duration – Ongoing / Long‑term
6. Full time/part‑time – Full time
7. Minimum rate of pay – £100-£120 per day
8. Hours – 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
9. Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
10. Understanding of classroom support strategies and differentiation
11. Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training (desirable)
12. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
13. A positive, supportive approach to learning

14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
16. Provide two professional child‑related references
