Why This Role Matters
You will be the authority on flight control and safety for operational UAVs. Using Pixhawk (Cube Orange) and ArduPilot, you will ensure aircraft fly predictably, repeatably, and defensibly. You will maintain estimator health, tune controllers, and produce flight-test-backed safety evidence that supports regulatory approvals. Your work directly enables drones to operate beyond visual line of sight in critical missions that save time, money, and lives.
What You Will Do
* Own the configuration, tuning, and validation of Pixhawk and ArduPilot systems
* Plan and carry out disciplined flight tests across normal and failure scenarios
* Analyse flight logs to produce regulator‑ready safety evidence
* Act as the flight control authority, mentoring engineers and preventing unsafe changes
* Work closely with airframe, autonomy, software, and operations teams to ensure aircraft performs safely and predictably

Who You Are
* Five or more years in UAV flight control or GNC, hands‑on with Pixhawk and ArduPilot
* Strong understanding of flight dynamics, control theory, and estimator or flight-test analysis
* Experienced in regulated safety processes and producing evidence-backed flight decisions
* BvLOS, redundancy management, or SITL/HITL experience is a plus
