Senior Associate Project Manager – National Practice
We are looking for a Project Manager to help our clients deliver high‑profile projects across Infrastructure and Defence sectors.
Based in our Bristol office, the role involves hybrid working with teams and clients across the South West.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and develop project teams or work streams within larger projects.
* Manage and control commercial aspects, including monthly budgeting/forecasting and project budgets.
* Oversee project schedules and key tie‑in elements.
* Manage internal and external stakeholders, applying stakeholder management methods to mitigate risk and dependencies.
* Formulate and present project business cases detailing objectives, costs, and benefits.
* Build long‑term trusted adviser relationships with clients.
Desired Experience
* Experience working with UK Government and Tier 1 organisations, especially in defence.
* Project and/or programme management experience through strategic planning to implementation and delivery in infrastructure projects.
* Experience in construction, infrastructure or regulated environments.
* Experience in the nuclear sector.
* Procurement and managing NEC contracts.
* Managing contractors, consultants and advisors on infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
Essential
* Degree level education in a relevant field.
* Project Management Qualification (PRINCE2/APM PMQ/AGILE).
Desirable
* Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
* NEC accredited PM.
* Certified Project Management Associate.
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working with an expected office and client site attendance of around 60% of the time.
Security Clearance
Must be a sole UK national and able to obtain and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).
