Role
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to promote positive behaviour and support lessons to enhance student engagement and achievement. You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all pupils.
The Candidate will need:
* Experience working with children
* Good organisation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive approach to student well-being and development
* Ability to motivate and support pupils
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher
* Managing student behaviour and attendance
* Helping to organise the classroom and create a positive environment
* Supporting pupils at all levels and abilities to ensure they stay on task
* Working collaboratively with teachers and parents
* Contributing to the planning and organisation of group activities and events
