The role
We are working closely with a well-regarded 11–18 secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Science Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. This role is suitable for teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, as well as confident general Science teachers.
The Science department is well-resourced, with clear schemes of work and strong technician support. The school has high expectations around behaviour and learning, creating a calm and focused environment for teaching.

Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on specialism)
* Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
* Promote curiosity, enquiry, and scientific thinking
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safety
* Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team
The ideal candidate
* QTS, QTLS, or equivalent UK teaching experience
* Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science
* Confident classroom management and practical lesson delivery
* Flexible, professional, and reliable
* Open to day-to-day supply, long-term, or permanent roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
