BCHA are a diverse and growing specialist housing, learning and support provider based in the South West. We provide support to our customers who may be facing a range of issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse, mental health and substance misuse. We have an opportunity for the right person to join us as a Complex Needs Support Worker for our Next Steps Accommodation Programme in Exeter. This is a role where you can really add value and make a difference, working as part of our friendly, supportive and professional team. Position: Whilst the role is based at ‘Morwenna Court’ in Exeter, travel to customer’s homes to provide an outreach service and one to one support for customers is essential. One of our key aims is to enable customers to move forward to sustainable independent living; It would be great if you have previous experience of working with homeless and or other socially excluded people and a good understanding of safeguarding issues. BUT this is not essential as training will be given, it is more important for you to have the personal qualities and the right attitude to undertake the role.
