Owen Daniels are partnered with a global logistics & freight specialist, who are seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk, on a permanent basis. In the role, you will support daily accounts payable operations by assisting UK Accounts Supervisors. Process, verify, reconcile invoices, complete payments, control expenses, maintain accurate AP data, and carry out general administrative tasks to support site and company goals.

Job Description
Communicate professionally with suppliers, colleagues, offices, and stakeholders
Process, reconcile, and verify invoices, statements, and system balances
Maintain accounts payable records, folders, and ledgers accurately
Handle high volumes of invoices efficiently with minimal supervision
Raise, log, and follow up queries; resolve issues within company policy
Complete BACS/CHAPS requests, credit applications, and monitor CASS/deferment
Answer calls, manage paperwork, support projects, and carry out general AP administration

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications
Experience working in a similar position
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English
Ability and flexibility to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Strong working capability on use of Microsoft office suite including word/ excel/ outlook
Able to complete work and thrive within a fastmoving, dynamic business and environment
Organised - the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and to prioritise workload and self-manage when required
Excellent attention to detail
