Job Title: Cover Teacher
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Salary: £100 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time
GSL Education are currently seeking for a friendly and reliable Cover Teacher to work at a welcoming secondary school in Farnborough. This full-time role will begin in September and involves covering lessons across different subjects using pre-prepared plans.
We are looking for someone who can step into different classrooms and teach a range of subjects using the lesson plans provided. You should be confident, organised, and able to manage a classroom well.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cover lessons in the absence of class teachers using provided plans.
* Make sure students stay focused and behave well during lessons.
* Support students with their learning in a calm and respectful way.
* Follow the school’s rules and routines.
* Work closely with other teachers and staff to support the school day.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is preferred.
* Experience working in a secondary school is desirable.
* Good classroom management skills.
* Able to follow lesson plans and adapt when needed.
* Friendly, flexible, and confident in front of a class.
* Experienced teachers who are looking for a flexible work-life balance are also encouraged to apply.
* A valid enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
