Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Audit Quality Assurance Manager. Make an Impact at RSM UK.
The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) is an independent department responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively, ensuring compliance with external regulations and standards, and internal procedures. This is largely achieved by reviewing completed engagements and providing feedback to engagement teams, service line management, technical and training departments, and other parties to drive continuous improvement in managing risk and internal controls, and promote quality and excellence in service delivery. QAD is respected within the firm as being important, influential, and knowledgeable.
We are looking for an Audit Quality Assurance Manager to join our team, based out of any of our regional offices. We operate a flexible hybrid-working model, focusing on being where we can most effectively support the service lines, which may involve travel to other UK-based offices.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Completing audit assurance reviews with a focus on large corporate and listed entities.
2. Supporting other QA reviewers, including managers and RIs, with audit assurance reviews.
3. Completing other QA reviews and activities to provide assurance to the audit business and wider firm.
4. Identifying and delivering feedback to relevant parties, including examples of good practice, to support continuous improvement in audit quality.
5. Working with the Quality Assurance Director and other QAD team members to identify and implement changes to improve department effectiveness and efficiency.
What we are looking for:
We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
1. ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
2. Experience working on large corporate and listed audit engagements in an Audit Manager role.
3. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
4. Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively.
What we can offer you:
We recognize that our people are our most important assets. We offer a flexible reward and benefits package to support your fulfillment both professionally and personally.
* Hybrid and flexible working.
* 27 days holiday (with options to purchase additional days).
* Lifestyle, health, and wellbeing benefits, including financial tools, electric car scheme, and access to a virtual GP.
* Access to 300+ courses on demand, developed by our Talent Development team.
