About the Role
The Reading School of Pharmacy is seeking an outstanding individual at Professor level to provide academic leadership within our interdisciplinary team and the University of Reading. You will join our team of expert researchers and educators to drive our focus on promoting research-led practice to shape the future of healthcare and innovative teaching to develop the prescribing pharmacists of the future.
We offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to leadership, strategic planning, and growth of research within the Pharmacy Practice team and across our wider research environment. There are also opportunities to lead aspects of the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and enhance the student experience.
Candidate Responsibilities
* Establish and lead your personal research programme in health services research.
* Supervise students and mentor early career researchers and colleagues.
* Develop and submit interdisciplinary and collaborative research grant applications.
* Publish research outcomes and develop impact case studies for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF).
Candidates should demonstrate leadership experience, a track record of publication, and success in securing research funding.
