Sales Advisor | Llantwit Major Leisure Centre

The Job
We are currently looking for a Sales Advisor to take the lead in hosting and interacting with members whilst actively promoting our philosophy of Quality, Care and Excellence in the service we provide. The activities in a Leisure Centre are wide ranging and the involvement with people is continuous.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that all the people who enter the Leisure Centre receive a friendly, polite and efficient service driving our site Net Promoter Score.
* Create a great first impression of the Leisure Centre.
* Have a good range of knowledge regarding the Leisure Centre.
* Promote and sell ‘Learn to Swim’ and ‘Fitness’ memberships by actively engaging in the sales process.
* Present our swim retail offer and be actively involved in maintaining standards and stocking up to help achieve our secondary revenue targets for the team.
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by efficiently and effectively managing phone calls whilst still providing excellent face‑to‑face service, contributing to the site’s target of a 95% answered call rate. Use a Welsh greeting when answering the phone; speaking Welsh is desirable but not essential.

* People person, approachable and proactive.
* Strong sales drive and culture.
* To deliver brand standards every day – SEE 5.
* All team members will be smart and well presented in the appropriate uniform and with a name badge.
* All areas of the building will be spotlessly clean at all times.
* All team members will aim to deal with a customer request immediately, or obtain assistance from another team member.
* Confident face‑to‑face and telephone communication with customers.
* Strong interpersonal and customer‑facing skills and in‑depth knowledge of the facility and services.
* Deal with existing customer enquiries, new potential party bookings and handle data in line with GDPR.
* Customer relations and basic computer skills essential.
* Friendly, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and good understanding of customer service and care.
* Flexible, reliable, good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
