Mac Recruit Group are delighted to be partnering with our clients over in East Kilbride as they are keen to welcome a Contracts Manager on a full time and permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate commercial aspects of new contracts to identify risks and benefits, supporting negotiations.
2. Review new and existing agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners for commercial and contractual soundness.
3. Obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with established processes.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve non-commercial contract issues.
5. Develop and implement commercial strategies and processes to ensure compliance with standards.
6. Maintain productive relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
7. Provide expert advice on a range of contractual matters and manage contract negotiations.
8. Lead training and development initiatives related to commercial contracting.
Requirements:
1. Recent experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
2. Knowledge of contract law and experience with NEC3, NEC4, MF1, or JFD contracts (ideal but not essential).
3. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
4. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
5. Degree level education or equivalent (ideal but not essential).
