We are supporting our client, a prestigious consumer business in the West Midlands, by hiring an Interim Finance Project Specialist. The role will collaborate closely with the Finance Director to meticulously review and optimise financial processes, balance sheet, excel spreadsheets and reports.
The position is on an initial 3-6 month contract, 3 days on-site required, with opportunities to be extended further, paying £700-£800 (outside IR35).

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Project Specialist
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify gaps in controls and balance sheet accuracy and take corrective measures
* Analyse existing workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation
* Develop and implement solutions to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of improvement initiatives, and regularly update stakeholders on progress and outcomes
* Oversee financial controls, ensuring compliance and efficiency within the integrated business
