Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
* Develop databases and analytic files, program with R, SAS, and other tools, and work with a range of data sources including claims, clinical trials, registries, and medical chart data.
* Conduct economic evaluations and draw inferences from medical literature, translating findings into regulatory and business recommendations.
* Perform independent economic and statistical analyses using spreadsheets and statistical programming.
* Examine market and industry behavior through targeted research.
* Review and summarize reports and client documents.
* Participate in meetings with academic experts and case team members.
* Create visual or graphic presentations of findings.
* Develop and maintain computer programs in SAS, R, or related software.
* Prepare reports and presentation materials.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biostatistics, computer science, data science, economics, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field with 0‑3 years of experience.
* Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (SAS, R, Stata, C++, Python) is a plus.
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Experience or strong interest in applying quantitative methods to real‑world life science research problems.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Academic record of excellence and the ability to work independently and in a team.
* Attention to detail and a desire to continuously learn and develop professionally.
* At least a 2.1 (or equivalent) in the most recent degree to be considered.
