<div><p>Further your career and take on a new challenge as a Functional Specialist!</p><p>We are recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a leading, multi-national employer with Full time roles available.</p><p>As a Functional Specialist you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Governments disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.</p><h3>Benefits Include:</h3><p>Starting salary of £39,500 + Bonus</p><ul><li>A competitive basic starting salary of £39,500 increasing to £40,500 on achieving DWP approval</li><li>Once approved you will be eligible for the bonus scheme subject to quality and performance</li></ul><p>Hybrid, Full time</p><p>Training: Full time, 5 weeks</p><p>25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service</p><p>Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided</p><p>Access to Health & Wellbeing programme and Headspace mobile app</p><p>Annual charity day</p><p>Employee network groups</p><p>Company matched pension</p><p>Life assurance</p><h3>Your New Role:</h3><p>As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will manage caseloads from end to end which includes delivering face to face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper based reports (PBR).</p><p>As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.</p><p>You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.</p><p>You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.</p><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.</li><li>Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.</li></ul></div>
