Candidate Requirements:

Manager Qualifications:
* Knowledge of law and practice related to caring for children and young people.
* Management skills for efficient operation.
* Financial expertise for sound financial management and long-term viability.
* Possession or progression towards: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England), Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, or relevant social work qualification with NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care.
* Experience in residential care within the last five years.
* Experience supervising staff and managing professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Manage operational activities including staff, budgets, and resources.
* Ensure compliance with the Children Act, the Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
* Engage in direct work with children, young people, and their families, especially those with complex needs.
